How did my last bid do - step by step guide

Step 1: Before you check

Did you bid on a property with a letting restriction? Some homes are advertised with "letting preferences" or "restrictions" (a particular band or a local connection) and some may have an age restriction or have adaptations in the property. These properties may have been let to someone in a lower band than you, as you didn't meet the letting preferences.

To check if there were any lettings restrictions, have a look at the last four weeks of properties advertised.

Step 2: Check your bids

1. Logon

You need your unique reference/bidding number and the main applicant’s date of birth.

2. Previous bids

You can see your previous bids if you check "Current Bids" and click on "view other expressions of interest".

3. Select Previous Property lists

You will see the weekly homes for letting for the last 12 weeks.

Choose the week that you want to check and press “display properties”. You can now see all the homes advertised for lettings for that week.

Press “display property details” for the home you placed a bid on.

Screnshot of previous property lists

You will see if it’s:

  • still waiting to be allocated,
  • under offer or
  • been let.

Once you find the property that you would like some further information on what happened with the property select 'Show details'

You can also see:

  • the number of bids received
  • how long the customer was registered and
  • the customer’s banding level.

You are seeing this information in real time and therefore it can change up until the property is let.

Please note: We can't provide feedback on the allocations of housing association or TMO properties as our systems are not linked. If you are being considered for one of these properties it’s highly likely they will contact you direct within a week of the advert closing. If you require any information on how they are progressing with their allocation please contact the organisation directly.
