Background Information
Please make sure that you complete every question that applies to you. You must answer questions marked 'required'. You won't be able to carry on with the form if you don't.
In order to answer the questions you will need to gather the following information:-
The National Insurance number of everyone on the application form that is over 16 years of age.
Details of the previous address of everyone to be included on the form for the last 12 months including the dates you moved in and out.
For equality monitoring purposes we ask you to provide the ethnic identity, nationality, sexuality and religion or belief of everyone 16 and over. Each section has an opt out box if you don't wish to say. This information helps us to ensure that our polices treat sections of the community fairly. This information is for monitoring purposes only and will be kept confidential.
Completing this form for a family will take approximately 20 minutes. Don't worry, you don't have to complete the housing application in one go, you can save it and come back to it later.
You can do this simply by selecting the option to SAVE which is on every page. You will then be given a reference number which you can use together with your password to retrieve your saved application. Yor application will be saved for 28 days and then cancelled.
We aim to record your application onto the housing register within 28 calendar days following checks and receiving any relevant supporting documents. You will be sent a letter telling you your band level and property type you are eligible for.
Once your application is live you can start bidding for a new home.
